STEP 1 : WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW?

  • Locate HP subject matter experts (internal or external)
  • HP awareness and learning offerings available (internal and external).
  • HP topic areas required by disciplines (engineers, HSE, front-line operations).

STEP 2 : WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

  • Liaise with HP Subject Matter Expert.
  • Define HP competencies by role with HP SME and identify training required to develop those competencies.
  • Required HP training and development is captured and tracked in company learning/competency management systems
  • Integrate HP knowledge and skills with job descriptions used for recruitment, selection, and interviews.
  • HP topic areas covered in this RP are integrated into Leadership development offerings.

Undertake introductory and advanced training:

Enrol on the Human Performance Pathway for the Energy Sector (Energy Institute) :
LEVEL 2. (Intermediate) Teaches how to manage human factors more broadly. Learners will need to use ‘intermediate’ level tools and techniques and will review their organisation’s current practices and policies.
