The Master of Engineering in Advanced Safety Engineering and Management (ASEM) is offered through the School of Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The 100% online degree is designed for working, full-time professionals. By teaching students both the language of engineering as well as safety concepts, graduates bridge the divide between engineers and occupational safety and health professionals. ASEM is a Qualified Academic Program by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. We also offer a continuing education course in Human and Organizational Performance which helps organizations become focused on continuous improvement in safety, leaders, teams, and operational performance
